Extra Curricular Activities and Trips

Moorlands provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities for children to participate in before, during and after school. Whilst the work covered in the classroom is important, the opportunity to develop personal skills and confidence is crucial to a child’s all round development. We offer opportunities to compete in sports fixtures - from Year 3 - perform on stage and develop skills in music and the arts.

Below are some examples of the Extra Curricular clubs we offer:

  • Rugby, Football, Cricket, Netball, Hockey, Cross Country, Rounders and Swimming
  • Young Voices (singing and dance club culminating in a concert at Sheffield Arena)
  • Orchestra, Choir, Chamber Choir and Recorders
  • Languages
  • Outdoor Education
  • Quiz Club
  • Bikeability

  • Tap, Jazz and Ballet
