Free Early Education Entitlement

Children attending Moorlands School may be eligible to receive the Free Early Education Entitlement. The first 15 hours of Early Years Foundation Stage are delivered completely free of charge. The balance of fees payable for the term are due entirely in respect of the additional hours your child attends the school. Places are available for the entire school day or for mornings only.

Children are eligible in the term after the term in which he/she turns 3 years of age. The final payment will be in the term in which he/she turns 5 years of age.

The child must have started the school by a given cut off date, which is usually within the first week of each term.

The entitlement is limited to a maximum of 10 hours per day. A morning session (8.00-1pm) will be a grant claim of 5 hours and a full day session will be a grant claim of 8 hours (8.00am to 4.00pm).

The amount varies depending on the number of weeks in a term.

If your child is attending for a combination of morning and full day sessions, please contact the Finance office for a fee quote.
